Warwick District Council is looking for an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person who can help deliver and manage a broad range of economic development initiatives across the district.

Warwick District has a vibrant and diverse economy.  We are a destination of choice for much inward investment in the region - including in the automotive sector, a hub for creative industries - particularly in the digital sector where we are one of the largest hubs for computer games in the UK, and a major tourist destination.

This post will involve working closely with colleagues across the council, and with external stakeholders and partners to develop an economic development strategy for the district and support and deliver a wide range of economic development initiatives. 

You will need to be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with experience of building relationships, dealing with competing priorities and pressures and delivering projects on time and on budget.  You will need to have excellent communications skills and a sound understanding of the commercial environment.
