Herefordshire Adults & Communities are developing adult social care services in keeping with the new responsibilities under the Care Act April 2014. We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking individual to join the City Locality Team in this opportunity to enhance the existing services.
You will be expected to have some knowledge of adult social care practice and legislation as well as strong interpersonal and organisational skills. You will have the ideas, values and knowledge that ensure that our responses are person centred, safe and effective with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for the individuals you support. You will work on your own initiative in order to meet the requirements of the assessment and review process, and will receive support from qualified staff and line management as required.
You will receive regular supervision from your social work line manager in the locality teams and we will provide you with opportunities to develop your practice to take you forward in your career.
We are interested in staff with experience in mental health, learning disability, physical disability and older people.
Hereford is a rural county and the ability to travel is integral to the post.
