Job Details
25 hours per week – 5 hours per day
This post is part of a small busy team working with the Mayor and Councillors at the heart of the organisation. The main duties of the postholder will be to provide administrative support to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, including the day-to-day co-ordination of their diaries and engagements, and the organisation of all civic events.
You must be able to prioritise to meet deadlines, possess excellent communication skills, political awareness, flexibility and good IT skills.
Previous experience of working in the public sector is desirable, but not essential.
Attendance at evening events and meetings may be required and attendance may also be required at some weekend events.
