Job Details

Colton Hills Community School wishes to appoint a cleaner who is flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and a hardworking person. The successful applicant will join the cleaning team to continue to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets. This will require duties such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of washroom areas, tables, chairs etc.

A good understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable.

About Colton Hills Community School

Colton Hills Community School is a mixed, non-denominational community secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands.  The school is supported by Wolverhampton City Council, has over 1000 pupils, and was formerly known by three other names: Wolverhampton Municipal Grammar School, Graiseley Secondary School, and Penn Secondary Modern. It was established in 1974.  The Headteacher is Ms Julie Hunter.

Colton Hills Community School is a highly regarded 11-18 community school judged by OFSTED to be a ‘GOOD’ school in December 2023.   Colton Hills Community School is a vibrant, inclusive community secondary school based in Wolverhampton, offering young people the opportunity of the best education – with a High Performance edge.  Offering education from year 7 to Post-16, Colton Hills, which is officially a “School of Sanctuary” strives to enrich our community by tackling inequality, promoting fairness and challenging prejudice.
