Mid-Trent Multi Academy Trust is seeking an inspiring Chief Executive to direct, manage and maximise the effectiveness of the MAT within a one-business culture so as to ensure the Trust’s business objectives are delivered, enabling all children to achieve outstanding educational outcomes.

The appointee will work with the board to shape the evolution of the Trust as it builds on its initial success in bringing together three Primary Schools sharing the same values and aspirations. Working with a newly appointed Chair, Mid-Trent Multi Academy Trust’s next Chief Executive will embed an ethos of collaboration and continuous improvement.

The new Chief Executive will be a creative, determined and empathetic leader with a record of success in managing complexity and effecting positive change. The CEO will be a keen strategist, with the intellect and personal authority to lead and develop a MAT and have an open communication style that will engage all partners. The appointee will be flexible, energetic, entrepreneurial and resilient. Prior experience in education is not essential and the Trust welcomes applications from candidates with relevant professional qualifications and experience.
