Job Details
You will be allocated to a service area; however, you will be expected to provide support to all Disability Day Opportunities venues to meet the requirements of the service and your role.
This role will Involve:
Working with an established team of support workers and managers to support the development and delivery of services for adults with a wide range of support needs including Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and Autism.
Disability Day Opportunities has undergone a period of development to enhance our management structure to better enable our service to meet the changing needs of our customers. Your role will include supporting the management team to ensure the vision for the service is imbedded in practice, and individuals’ complex health needs are supported through effective care management and team working.
As a senior support worker, you will be responsible for upholding the values and vision for the service areas. Taking a hands-on proactive approach, you will lead by example in all aspects of your duties and responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be someone with proven experience of working in a challenging and changing environment, being a leader with evidence of providing good outcomes for vulnerable people against adversity and be willing to develop themselves and others.
You must be able to demonstrate how to work in a multi-agency approach with other partners and stakeholders.
Hours
37 hours per week
