Residential Support Worker at Vale Lodge

 

Salary up to £24,799

A rare opportunity has arisen for two Residential Support Workers to join a highly skilled and dedicated team for a six-months to cover staff's career progression. The team works in partnership with families and other professionals using a holistic approach to meet the needs of the Young People.

Vale Lodge Children's Home provides 52 week/24 hour support to four Young People with learning difficulties. We provide stimulating environment to enhance skills, widen experiences and enable participation in leisure activities.

Are you flexible and dynamic person who would like the challenge of being a part of a team that enhances the lives of young people? You will have an understanding of supporting people with disabilities and provide personal care and assistance when required. Effective communication skills, self-motivation and enthusiasm are important.

You will have experience of working with Young people together with NVQ3 in care, its equivalent or must be prepared to work towards it. You will be involved in working within a rolling rota that includes sleeping in duties, evenings and weekend working"
