The Role

The Coleshill School are seeking to appoint cleaning staff to clean specified areas within the school in accordance with the school’s standards.

You will work under the direction and instruction of the Cleaning Supervisor to undertake individually or as part of a team the cleaning of designated areas to ensure they are kept clean and in a hygienic condition.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement of the role.

We have 2 vacancies:

20 hours per week, 3.15pm – 7.15pm, Monday – Friday term time plus 10 days
Actual salary £8,600.77

12.5 hours per week, 3.15pm – 5.45pm, Monday – Friday term time plus 10 days
Actual salary £5,375.48

Key Requirements

- To clean specified areas within the school in accordance with the school’s standards. Work will be undertaken under the guidance of the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Understand and work to procedures, follow straightforward instructions and read labels
- Confident to operate electrical equipment
- Able to use materials safely
- Can identify straightforward solutions to simple problems
- Can exchange straightforward information with colleagues and school users
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Excellent timekeeping
- Good team member
- Communication skills
- Ability to plan ahead
- Takes pride in work and job well done
