Shropshire Council is looking to recruit an individual to this key role within its Economic Growth Service. This individual will be responsible for co-ordinating, leading and developing a number of exciting economic growth projects across Shropshire. Support the County town and the keymarket towns in Shropshire to grow and flourish is a key driver for the Council, as well as the key growth corridors of the M54, A5/A483 and A49/A41.

This exciting role and opportunity will involve influencing and inputting to key strategic policies, collaborating with key stakeholders and partners to ensure development and projects progress. This will require excellent project management skills, ability to prioritise and mange a varying workload and ensure that Shropshire Council creates and grows sustainable places for the future. The ability to develop relationships with departments across the Council and with a range of external public, private partners and key stakeholders to deliver key projects and programmes will be critical to the success of this role.

Fixed term until October 2022.
