Stockland Green School is part of The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP), a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing 5 secondary schools. 8 primary schools, Teaching School, and SCITT. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield and North Warwickshire. As the ATLP grows and develops further an exciting opportunity has arisen for the following role based at Stockland Green School.

Stockland Green School is a small over-subscribed community school, serving 11 to 16 year olds and we are passionate about delivering top quality education to the children in our care. Children are challenged to Aspire to be the very best they can be in all aspects of their life. They are supported to Believe that they can Achieve anything if they work hard

and develop the resilience needed to overcome challenges that they will face along the way.

We wish to appoint a Cover Supervisor for an initial one year fixed term contract. You will need to be able to cover lessons by using an appropriate range of supporting strategies which meet individual learners’ needs to ensure all pupils make good progress. The role requires the capability of ensuring behaviour management systems are implemented in

the curriculum area so that effective learning can take place. The candidate should set high standards of work and behaviour for themselves and others across the school and be a positive role model to all. The role may be of interest to graduates who are looking at gaining school experience before applying for teacher training, and current successful cover supervisors and even teachers looking for a career change. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
