Northfield Road Primary School is a thriving two form entry primary school which has been serving the local population for more than a century. Situated in the West Midlands, Netherton is proud of its industrial heritage and strong community identity.
Since the Ofsted inspection in September 2018, Northfield Road has worked in partnership with the local authority and the Stour Vale Trust, to establish a vibrant, effective and forward-thinking Senior Leadership Team who will bring much-needed stability to this much-loved school.
Northfield Road converted to academy status and joined Stour Vale Academy Trust on 1st July 2019.
We are now seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Assistant Headteacher to join Northfield Road Primary School on its journey of school improvement at this exciting time.
The new Assistant Headteacher will join the recently appointed Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and Assistant Headteacher to complete the Senior Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will take a lead role in supporting the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to raise standards of academic achievement, whilst developing a cohesive school community where children and staff flourish. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and effective school leader.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and will take place at the following times: Tuesday 17th September 9.30am, Wednesday 18th September 4.00pm, Friday 20th September 8.15am and Tuesday 24th September 1.30pm. Please contact the school office on 01384 818710 to arrange a time to visit.

Initial shortlisting will take place by Wednesday 2nd October 2019 and we ask to observe the successful candidates teach in their current school on either 4th or 7th October 2019.
