Dudley SENDIASS is a statutory service (Children & Families Act 2014) providing legally based impartial advice to parents of children with SEND and also young people up to 25.

We provide legally based advice, information and support on all matters relating to SEN and disabilities including health and social care issues.

The service is impartial and confidential.

Senior SENDIASS Officer

  • To deliver accurate SEND information and advice to both parents of children with SEND and also young people up to 25.
  • In line with the statutory duties of the SENDIASS service - Children & Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice Jan 2015.
  • Commitment to the professional development training that underpins this post.
  • Responsibility for a caseload that ensures both parents and young people are able to access information to enable them to make informed choices.

Hours:  Part time - term time only, 39 weeks per year, 22.2 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday) non-negotiable

Salary:  Grade 8

Location:  Saltwells Education Centre, Bowling Green Road, Netherton

Post subject to Enhanced DBS check

Car user essential
