Finance Officer
FTE £17,000-£21,000 per year (pro rata for part time)
37 hours a week, 42 weeks per year
Rugby Free Secondary School (RFSS) is an 11-19 free school which opened in September 2016. The school is growing at an exceptional rate and has already proved very popular with parents. RFSS benefits from the backing of a highly supportive local authority and the local MP who both also supported the establishment of our sister school, Rugby Free Primary School, which opened successfully in September 2015.
As Finance Officer, you will contribute to the effective running of the school, providing financial support under the direction and guidance of the School Business Manager. You will also work as part of a wider Trust Finance Team working flexibly across the Trust under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer.
Your responsibilities will include managing the day to day accounting procedures and recording of all financial transactions accurately to ensure effective operation of the finance function of the school and assisting the SBM with all aspects of the development of school finances.
