Permanent Senior Cleaner

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly qualified Senior Cleaner to join our hardworking and committed team ASAP from October 2019. At Gladstone Primary we are the ‘in house provider’ for our cleaning service.  The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 5 other cleaners.

Some Key Duties / Responsibilities more information will be given in the application pack

• Daily supervision of Cleaners and resolution of any immediate issues
• Under the direction of the Academy Business Manager, co-ordinate the response to any unforeseen incident or problem including staff absenteeism
• Responsible for all stock and ordering
• Ensure that all legal, hygiene and fire safety requirements are adhered to by staff at all times
• Ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard
• To detail and organise the daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, toilets etc
• Hours 3.30 – 6.00 pm

Any other duties requested by senior management, some of which may be requested for times other than normal contracted hours e.g. periodic clean
