The Role
Temporary KS2 Teaching Assistant (Level I).
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 1.30pm, 22.5 hrs per week, term time only including Inset days – 39 weeks.
This contract will last as long as we have the funding to support the child or until the child leaves this school, whichever is the sooner.
Salary dependent upon qualifications – new or experienced TA’s welcome to apply.
Required to start as soon as possible.
Fixed term contract ending 31 August 2019
Key Requirements
We are an energetic, creative and forward thinking school.
We are looking for a well-motivated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our strong and supportive team of staff who collaboratively impact on the outcomes for our children.
You will need to be creative, understand how children learn and be able to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
You must be prepared to carry out both one to one and group work in addition to undertaking other duties which support the education and well being of pupils.
You will also be expected to maintain the high standards established in our school and use strategies in liaison with the teacher to support pupils to achieve their full potential in their learning.
They will also be expected to prepare, maintain and use any equipment/resources required in order to deliver the planned relevant leaning activity.
This role requires you to be well motivated and supportive of our Catholic Ethos.
