An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Birmingham City Council's GIS application support team. The successful candidate will join a team about to embark on a signifcant programme of works supporting delivery of the council's future vision for GIS services.

This role involves the provision of specialist GIS & LLPG support to Birmingham City Council business users and the support development and implementation of GIS services, strategies and solutions.

The successful candiate will have technical experience in one or more programming languages (preferably including Python), as well as experience of using and supporting ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal/Online, ESRI WebAppBuilder and FME.

The sucessful candidate will have a proven track record of using their initiative, being self motivated and methodical with a proven aptitude to learn.
