Safeguarding Assistant (Adults)
Salary: Grade 6 – £20-344 to £22,911 per annum
37 Hours per week –Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a Safeguarding Assistant to join the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). Feedback from the recent West Midlands peer review stated that The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub is seen as an example of good practice and was seen to be working well.
The Staffordshire Adult Safeguarding Team is a dynamic and forward thinking team based within a multi agency environment. The role of Safeguarding Assistant is to support the Safeguarding Advanced Practitioners and Practice Leads in the implementation of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Adult Safeguarding Enquiry Procedures. The Safeguarding Assistant is primarily accountable for carrying out research and checks in relation to safeguarding concerns and document findings to enable safeguarding enquiries to be planned and risks to adults with care and support needs to be appropriately assessed.The right applicant will need to have exceptional organisational, and recording skills in this busy and fast paced team.
