About the team

Sprint is a new, modern, high-quality public transport service. Sprint runs on the road, with dedicated bus lanes and priority through areas of congestion, which will make the journey times much more reliable. This will offer passengers a level of service and comfort, with off-board ticketing, multiple door boarding, wheelchair and pushchair access, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning as well as on-board audio-visual announcements and travel information.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sprint Delivery Director, we have an exciting opportunity to be part of the Sprint team, as a Project Risk Manager. As an experienced Risk Manager, you will be supporting Project Managers to identify risks and develop mitigation plans, whilst promoting and maintaining the issue of Risk to stakeholders. You will have the ability to Co-ordinate planning, delivery, reporting, and facilitate risk workshops. You’ll be working with Senior Stakeholder’s, to check risks are elevated and escalated and to provide regular progress reports to the Sprint programme board.

Who we need

You will need to be an experienced risk manager, who has worked within a programme management environment and has excellent influencing skills across all levels. You should be able to work under pressure, coordinate multiple activities, as well as having strong analytical, numerical and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have a professional and can-do attitude, along with an open-minded approach to problem solving.

You should hold a Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field and a technical qualification in Risk management training (MoR, PMI, APM) , along with all Microsoft packages, and used to presenting information.
