We are now looking to recruit Promoting Independence Assistants and Urgent Response Assistants

Salary:

Urgent Response Assistant: £18,065 - £18,426 pro rata

Promoting Independence Assistant: £18,795 - £19,171 pro rata

 

The Urgent Promoting Independence Service provides support to individuals who live in their own home. The aim of the service is to provide support to individuals, so they can remain in their homes and to promote their independence following hospital discharge or crisis intervention and, to observe during a period of assessment any ongoing service requirements that would aid recovery.

We currently only have PM vacancies available that encompass 7 days working.

Key Requirements

The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is based at Wildwood, County Hall Campus. This service is provided across the whole of the county of Worcestershire and teams operate within specific areas so the need to travel is essential. The service is provided from 07.00 to 22.00. It is centrally managed through a Call Centre based in Worcester.

You should have a commitment to developing the lives of people providing care and support that meets individual outcomes and promotes independence. You should have the ability to travel independently, work autonomously and be a good team player. You need to have good communication skills, excellent organisational skills and experience of managing and leading teams. You will need an understanding of maintaining the health & safety and wellbeing of service users in their own home.
