The successful candidate will be ambitious for the school and its learners; committed to the professional development of self and others, and ready for an exciting new challenge in senior leadership. 

Old Hall School is a specialist setting in Walsall providing education to young people at EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, all of whom have a variety of SEND complexities. The post holder will be joining the Senior Leadership Team as we move forward and refine our excellence in nurturing, developing and shaping young lives. Old Hall is part a collaborative, supportive and progressive federation. This is an exciting time, and offers an opportunity to provide the empathy, support and nurture that will directly impact the future of the lives of the most significantly challenged young people in the area.

This role should appeal to you if you are confident in your ability to combine a high level of skill in the classroom and creative strategic thinking, with a child-focused and nurture based approach. You should be motivated to making a real difference on a whole school level, and to take complete ownership of specific aspects of school development.

Working closely with the Head of School, Assistant Headteacher and Executive Headteacher of the Federation, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the day to operations of the school, and areas of school development and improvement which will be agreed depending on experience and skills.
