SEN Teaching Assistant
30 hours per week term time only
39 weeks per year

Do you have SEN experience or a special school background?
We wish to appoint a learning support assistant for 30-hrs per week to join our successful and supportive staff team at this outstanding school. The role will provide 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs.
The job will start as soon as possible; the post extending until the child has left the school or no longer needs a statement of special educational need.
Whitehall Nursery & Infant school has a secure and caring ethos and the staff work well together to include and support all pupils
You will be working very closely with the Inclusion Manager and class teacher to support both academic progress and basic pragmatics. Experience of working with children with ASD would be an advantage. Experience of basic child development and good maths and literacy skills are essential.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expect all staff to share this commitment. The appointment will depend on a successful CRB and two references.
