Academy Business Manager - St Laurence’s CE Primary School

The Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust is looking to appoint a well organised, resourceful and highly effective Academy Business Manager.

St Laurence’s is a vibrant, warm and welcoming school, where pupils thrive in a positive and caring environment. The academy opened in April 2013 and was judged as “Good” by Ofsted in March 2019, and “Good with Outstanding Features” in our SIAMS in March 2017. Values of love, respect, honesty, hope, courage and trust now shine through the life of the school. As a result pupils learn in a safe and secure Christian environment where their wellbeing is of paramount importance.

We are also proud to be an ICON School (International Cross of Nails) in recognition of our work and our commitment to peace and reconciliation within our school and wider community.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team and the wider Multi-Academy Trust to transform educational experiences for our pupils and local community.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant qualification in Business Management and/or Finance;
• Experience of developing and implementing business development strategies;
• Knowledge of effective and efficient financial and budgetary management and reporting;
• An ability to prioritise tasks and organise their time well;
• The ability to develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
