The Governors of Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School are looking to appoint an inspirational and forward thinking Head of Modern Foreign Languages to join our school on its journey to ‘outstanding’.

Archbishop Ilsley is an 11-18 Catholic school with a total of 1206 pupils which includes a sixth form. The school is currently designated Good (Ofsted June 2017). Archbishop Ilsley is oversubscribed and is the school of choice in the local area; although a Catholic school Archbishop Ilsley welcomes pupils from all faiths and has a rich diversity. We are

a successful, happy and ambitious school further enriched by an excellent team spirit and a desire to improve on previous best.

The MFL department teaches both French and Spanish to KS3, 4 and 5 students. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher with a strong sense of leadership and the ability to motivate, lead and create a vision for success

This is a wonderful opportunity for the right person to join a highly committed team in a large and successful Catholic secondary school.
