Teaching Assistant Level 2 working with a 1.1
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months in the first instance

Salary Band Grade F point 6-11
Actual salary £12,422 - £13,715
Midday Supervisor
Fixed Term for 12 months in the first instance
Grade B Scale Point 1-2
Actual Salary £2,027.29 - £2,067.80
Term Time only plus one week Teacher Training Day
5 hours per week
Working hours Monday to Friday 12.15 pm – 13.15 pm
The position will involve supporting staff across the whole school, but the successful candidate will be predominantly based in one class in Key Stage 2, supporting a SEND child with an EHCP.
They will be responsible for leading intervention groups for vulnerable learners, liaising with the SENDCO and Head teacher and also supporting the social and academic learning of their attached child.
The successful candidate will also be required to undertake Midday Supervisor.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure that the classroom environment and resources are adapted so that their attached 1:1 child can access the curriculum.
- Have a good understanding of ICT so that they can support their learner with extra equipment.
- Plan and lead key intervention groups which they will receive training for.
- Support vulnerable learners with SEND across the phase group.
You will need to hold a recognised and relevant NVQ level 2 qualification.
Have good communication and listening skills and be able to present information verbally and in writing to others.
