Attendance and Welfare Officer
Salary: £19,554 - £21,166 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
This is a pivotal role for our school, to address one of our key priorities – to raise attendance and continue to improve parental engagement.
The successful candidate will have effective communication and organisational skills, have experience of working with children, parents/carers and outside agencies, GCSE (or equivalent) English and mathematics at grade 4 or above, hold positive values, able to work as part of a team and have experience of working in a similar role.
The role will be a proactive one, to improve attendance levels across the school, with particular attention to disadvantaged children, children with SEND and Looked After Children. It will entail monitoring and improving attendance, working with families to reduce and eliminate barriers to good attendance and contributing significantly to safeguarding procedures within school.
