Science Technician

The Role

SCIENCE TECHNICIAN
Required Immediately

Full time, Permanent Contract
37 Hours Per Week, Term-Time Only
Salary Band D, Points 4-5 (starting on Point 4, £15,308 actual salary)

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our friendly team of technicians who provide support across the sciences.

You will assist in the day-to-day support of the learning environment, providing technical assistance in the classroom, preparing equipment and materials for lessons, maintaining general care and cleanliness of laboratories and prep rooms for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

- Do you have a passion for the education of students?
- Do you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills?
- Can you multi-task effectively, with meticulous attention to detail?
- Are you proactive?

Previous experience as a Technician, or in an alternative technical or scientific environment, is preferred but not essential.

Key Requirements

* Enhanced DBS Check
* Ability to multi task and work to deadlines
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Experience as a Technician (preferred)
