The Head Teacher and Governors are looking to appoint a cleaner to join our existing cleaning team.

Hours: 11.25 hours per week.

Salary: Grade 1 

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic and who will ensure that the high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our school.

You will be required to undertake general cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, buffing and vacuuming, dusting, emptying litter bins, cleaning toilets etc to ensure the school is kept in a clean and hygienic condition. The successful candidate should ideally have previous cleaning experience in a similar setting and must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work individually and as part of a team.

Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given.

You will be required to work 3.15pm – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. With flexibility to work additional hours in some school holidays to carry out deep cleaning activities.
