Training – NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning

• • Monday to Friday 8:45am – 3:45pm - Term time only
• • National Apprenticeship - £3.90per hr (£7524.23 pa).
• • Fixed Term until 20th July 2021
• • To start immediately

Saxon Hill Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and caring Apprentice Teaching Assistant who is keen to gain the knowledge, skills and understanding of working with children who have additional needs and wishes to train to further their qualifications to Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning. In this role you would provide personal care; toileting and changing, feeding, support with some physical therapies and general support to the teacher in the care of pupils and management of the classroom. You would also receive workplace-based training and supervision to complete the NVQ Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning. The successful applicant will show a passion for working with children with additional needs to support their learning and personal care and will already hold Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, or Grade 4 or above).
