We are a rapidly growing Multi Academy Trust who lead and manage academies in all phases, all sectors and in all communities. Shaw Education Trust is currently comprised of 17 academies. We have other schools joining us imminently across the North West, West Midlands and East Midlands.

We are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner to offer proactive and outstanding HR support to our Academies, primarily across the Midlands.

Linking with our existing HRBP the successful candidate will provide both strategic and operational HR support to an assigned geographic client base of Academies, by acting as an internal consultant and HR resource for senior leaders, managers and employees and responding proactively to the ongoing requirements. This includes providing, professional direction and support, whilst being a commercially aware, focused Business Partner and applying best practice HR solutions that meet the business needs. The HRBP will add value to discussions with business leaders, making compelling business cases for HR initiatives and offering insights and analysis to the business to aid effective decision making. The HRBP will additionally support the flawless execution of HR management processes and tools, be involved in policy development and roll out, take a lead in union negotiations and share responsibility for all aspects of employee relations across the Trust.

The successful candidate will have the aspiration to help us make Shaw Education Trust ‘Best in Class’ and will need to have a high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to influence, coach and build strong working relationships within the Trust and with the Senior Leaders they will be supporting.
