Job Details
Sandwell Council are committed to reducing and preventing homelessness across the Borough Increasing demand and the need to embed changes in response the requirements of the Homeless Reduction Act, we are now seeking to recruit a newly created Business Manager post to lead this service and to drive this agenda forward through Sandwell’s Vision 2030.
We are looking for a passionate Business Manager with high levels of energy, drive, commitment and extensive experience of working within the Social Housing Sector and/or Local Government.
You will have a proven track record at senior management level of delivering change, excellent service outcomes and leadership.
You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of local, regional and national service pressures generating demand for affordable housing and homeless services.
It is essential the successful candidate can demonstrate the ability to design and deliver housing solutions that will mitigate the risks of homelessness and manage overall housing need.
