Media & Communication Manager
Are you skilled at generating news? Can you promote the work of the Police and Crime Commissioner? Looking for a varied and interesting role?
We are looking for an individual to join the Media and Communications team for a period of 6-12 months (negotiable) to cover a secondment. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Media and Communications in all matters relating to internal and external communications, promote the role and policies of the Commissioner and lead on social media and digital communications for the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Office.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, the successful candidate will have experience of working in public relations, marketing or a media environment and will have a good knowledge and understanding of current issues facing the public sector.
