We are looking to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work within our nursery working with individuals and small groups for 22.5 hours per week.

We are looking for someone who is able to support pupils working in the classroom alongside the class teacher and across a range of abilities. Previous experience of working with children is essential.

The successful applicant will be expected to hold one of the following an NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification in a childcare related subject. The post is on a fixed term basis until the end of the academic year.

The school’s most recent OFSTED confirmed that it continues to be a good school where all pupils make good progress due to consistently excellent teaching.

DBS Checks

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Amendment Order 1986 and, as such, it will be necessary for a Submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
