We have a 2 vacancies within our telephone customer service team that deals with Council Tax, Benefits, Business rates, Fraud and switchboard calls, based in Riverside House, Leamington Spa.

1x37 hr post

1x26 hr post – Hours of work 12:00-5:15 Mon to Thursday and 11:45-4:45 on a Friday

The main purpose of the job is to:

  • Provide answers to customers’ enquiries whist they are on the telephone
  • Provide advice to landlords, partner agencies and account holders representatives
  • Provide assistance and guidance to customers to get them set up with an online account
  • Use your judgement to make correct amendments and updates to customers’ accounts and claims
  • Keep customers’ records accurate and up to date
  • Answer switchboard calls  and signpost customers to the correct department

You will need to be able to work in fast paced environment and be able to keep up to date with all current legislations and procedures. You may have to deal with vulnerable and upset customers so a commitment to being patient, understanding and the ability to remain calm at all times is an essential attribute needed for the role.
