Transport for West Midlands is the transport arm of the West Midlands Combined Authority. We are dedicated to developing and promoting high quality public transport services and infrastructure across the region in order to build a healthier, happier, better connected and more prosperous West Midlands.

Field Officers have a varied and diverse work schedule collecting a wide range of data and information across the transport network utilising hand-held electronic devices to support the work of the West Midlands Combined Authority, in addition to this Field Officers also provide passenger information and assistance to customers travelling on the West Midlands network that includes working onboard the West Midlands Metro.

Successful candidates will be field-based, self-motivated, highly organised and have good knowledge of public transport in the local area, be competent in numeracy and literacy and have the ability to work to timescales and under pressure. You will deliver a smart, friendly, visible, high profile presence to provide quality services and understand the needs of our customers to enhance the customer experience whilst being empathetic to their needs.
