The Governing Body of Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School are seeking to appoint an exceptional leader to continue the journey of improvement for this well-established Catholic secondary school.

Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School is a heavily over-subscribed 11-18 mixed Catholic Comprehensive School with over 800 students on roll including over 100 Sixth Form students. Our school is underpinned by a strong Catholic ethos where students are well cared for and kept safe.

Our new Headteacher will be a dynamic and inspirational leader who shares in our vision to drive the necessary improvements to enable the school community to achieve its full potential. As the school is set to academise in January 2020, joining the successful St John Bosco MAC you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Headteachers and contribute to the ever-evolving strategic vision for the MAC.

To be successful you will need a proven track record of continually raising standards, a natural flair for harnessing team talent and an unrelenting commitment to the best possible outcomes for all, regardless of background or ability.

You will be committed to articulating a vision for the school that reflects its distinctive Catholic character, you will also be a practising Catholic in support of our school mission statement ‘To bear witness to the Gospel Values and act always with a steadfast determination to do and be of our best.
