Salary G4 actual salary £14,896- £16,446 per annum
Hours: 28.45 per week (Term Time)

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 1 classes and deliver targeted interventions as required. We will require the successful candidate to hold an NVQ Level 2 childcare qualification (or equivalent). The successful applicant should be available to work 8:45-3:00pm.

You will need to be able to:

• Demonstrate good literacy, numeracy and IT skills;
• Work well under own initiative as well as part of a team;
• Have a proven track record of successful KS1 classroom practice;
• Have experience of working with intervention groups on specific teaching and learning programmes to effectively meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• Have recent and relevant knowledge of phonics and can demonstrate effective practice.
