Social Workers (full and part time) - Ref: SS02319
Salary:G9 £32,552- £37,475 per annum
Full time Social Worker - 2 posts: 37 hours
Part time Social Worker - 1 post: 18.5 hours (working Wednesday pm, Thursday all day and Friday all day.)
We are seeking experienced Social Workers with substantial post qualifying experience to work within the Duty and Assessment function of our Team.
If you are a motivated and solution focused practitioner, who is interested in helping to shape and deliver our services, and contribute to the development of a model of best practice for the area, then we would like to hear from you. You will work alongside a Team of Social Care and Occupational Therapy practitioners. You will be expected to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of Care Act legislation, Mental Capacity Act and be experienced in completing care act assessments, devising strengths based support plans and outcome focussed reviews. You will have experience of safeguarding adults and working to demonstrate a commitment to empowering our service users and carers.
In return, we offer regular supervision and peer support, and a commitment to your ongoing career development and progression. We will ensure you are given the opportunity to access post qualifying training and ongoing development opportunities. Social Workers wishing to undertake post qualifying award training will be encouraged and supported to do so.
This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
