37 hours per week

We are looking for a new enthusiastic Democratic Services Officer to work in the shared Democratic Service for Redditch Borough and Bromsgrove District Councils.

The Democratic Services team provides a professional and friendly service to elected Councillors across two district Councils. Whether you are an experienced Democratic Services Officer or from a different background you will need to be organised, with a flexible attitude and good team working skills. Availability to attend evening meetings will be essential.

Your main duties will be facilitating Committee meetings (including scrutiny Task Groups), taking minutes, compiling agenda packs and report writing. You must have excellent IT skills and ideally experience using a Committee management system. You will also need to work across two Council sites in what is an exciting shared services environment.
