***This opportunity is fixed term and is open to existing Walsall Council employees only and is offered as a secondment opportunity for 18 months. Internal applicants should note that before applying for a secondment opportunity they should seek the support of their line manager in the first instance***

We are recruiting a Project Support Officer to support the Programme and Project Team in the successful delivery of ICT programmes and projects and to ensure Walsall Council continues to have an ICT infrastructure fit for the future.
Working as a key member of the ICT Programme Management Office, you will support the team to deliver successful design, planning and delivery of council wide technology change projects including management of business case and project initiation and management to achieve benefit realisation including efficiencies and savings.
Your will also assist with the development of project plans, including capture and tracking of data. You will assist with the capture and review of risks, issues, outcomes and benefits.
You will provide support to and assist with the delivery of small to medium sized ICT projects in accordance with best practice methodology.
