St Luke’s CE Academy Endon is one of the fourteen Academies that are part of the Staffordshire University Academies Trust (SUAT). By November 2019 SUAT will have nineteen Academies in the Trust. St Luke’s is a very popular VC Church of England 3-11 Academy of 218 pupils. The Academy has a strong commitment to the further development of its Christian ethos.

Due to the resignation of the previous Headteacher the Trustees of the Staffordshire University Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a new Headteacher to lead the further development of the Academy, from September 1^st 2020.

The Trustees and the Local Governing Body, wish to appoint a substantive Headteacher who is an innovative and highly motivated leader. You will have the drive, passion and personality to continue the considerable progress that has been made under the previous Headteacher and be prepared to meet the challenge of becoming an outstanding school. Self-motivated and ambitious you will drive the vision of the Academy, further developing the rich and challenging curriculum and the present culture of high expectations and opportunity. You will provide professional leadership for the Academy, within the multi academy trust, which secures its continued success and improvement.

You will bring a strong track record of school improvement and will actively embrace working closely and collaboratively with the Trustees, the Local Governing Body, the Diocese, staff and pupils to develop this Academy into a truly outstanding community resource. To the right candidate, this post will be an extremely rewarding experience, an opportunity to really make a difference and lead the Academy into the next exciting phase of its development.
