Job Details

We are looking for a suitably qualified and competent Environmental Health Officer or Food Safety / Health and Safety Officer registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board to work as a Citizen & Consumer Protection Officer –Environmental Health.

The job will mainly entail food hygiene and occupational health and safety inspections and interventions, including investigation of service requests and infectious diseases.

There will also be the opportunity to undertake some commercial statutory nuisance investigations.

The ability to work as an enforcement officer is essential as is a detailed understanding of relevant legislation.

Hours

37 hours per week
