Hales Valley Multi Academy Trust is a primary academy trust, based in Dudley, West Midlands. We currently consist of five very different primary schools, ensuring that our Trust is a diverse and exciting place to work and learn.

The Trust is looking to appoint a number of enthusiastic highly motivated individuals to join our administration teams at Lapal Primary School, Woodside Primary School and Priory Primary School.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have experience of working in a busy office dealing with multi different tasks
  • Have experience of dealing with a variety of people at different levels.
  • Have proven administrative experience.
  • Can demonstrate excellent Finance and IT skills.
  • Have accurate literacy skills.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to work as an effective team leader and member.
  • Show a commitment to professional standards and the Safeguarding agenda.

The Roles

Lapal Primary School – Grade 4 Finance/Admin Officer - 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year. Actual pro rated salary £16,153

Vacancy Code: HVT0028

Based at Lapal Primary School in Halesowen you will work under the guidance of the Office Manager providing finance and administration support to the school. You will have two years or more experience of accounting/financial record keeping including ordering, processing, payment of invoices, cash handling and reconciliation. In addition, you will be first point of contact dealing with a variety of enquires from parents, visitors and suppliers.

You will be appointed on a permanent contract.

Priory Primary School – Grade 4 Administration Officer – 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year. Actual Pro rated salary £14,188

Based at Priory Primary School in Dudley you will work under the guidance of the Office Manager providing administration support to the school. You will be a skilled administrator preferably with front-line experience of working in a busy school environment.  You will need to have excellent communication skills, be flexible, be able to work effectively in a team and have excellent IT skills including a good knowledge of both Word and Excel.

You will be appointed on a permanent contract.

Woodside Primary School – Grade 4 Administration/Attendance Officer – 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year. Actual Pro rated salary £7,640

Based at Woodside Primary School in Dudley you will work under the guidance of the Office Manager providing administration support to the school. You will be a skilled administrator preferably with front-line experience of working in a busy school environment and dealing with school attendance.  You will need to have excellent communication skills, be flexible, be able to work effectively in a team and have excellent IT skills including a good knowledge of both Word and Excel.

You will be appointed on a Fixed Term contract covering a period of Maternity. The contract will end once the substantive post holder returns.
