based on a 5-day rota including weekends and evenings subject to theatre programming & events

£18,426 - £19,171 per annum

The Assembly Rooms in Tamworth have undergone a multi-million-pound project to totally transform the 130-year-old building. The refurbishment will give Tamworth a new modern theatre as well as a new kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment, café and event space for community/corporate hire. We are looking for Food Service Assistants to join our dynamic team.

This is a flexible role; you may be required to work in the kitchen or as a counter assistant in our café and hospitality event delivery team. As a member of the catering team, you will contribute to the provision of quality food preparation & service to meet standards in line with agreed procedures and provide a warm welcome to visitors, so that the reputation of the Assembly Rooms catering function is maintained and enhanced.

The site has a great feel and the emphasis is on serving quality, freshly prepared produce, seasonality, sustainability and delivering exceptional service. Candidates will be expected to have experience in food service & hospitality and will have good food knowledge with both the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As we operate within a prestigious site, applicants will need to be well-presented, give excellent customer service and punctuality is a must.
