Key Duties/Responsibilities:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Vice Principal who works relentlessly to ’Be the best that they can be.’

The successful candidate will have responsibility for;
 

Values and Ethos

• Upholding the schools vision and values.
• Contributing to and monitoring progress towards the achievement of the academy’s aims and objectives
• Building positive relationships with all members of the academy community
• Demanding ambitious standards for all pupils, instilling a strong sense of accountability in staff for the impact of their work on pupil outcomes
• Creating an ethos within which all staff are motivated and supported to develop their skills and knowledge
• Holding all staff to account for their professional conduct and practice

Main areas of responsibility

• Leading on teaching and learning across the academy
• Driving data & assessment
• Developing Christian Distinctiveness
• Creating Pupil Leadership opportunities
• Supporting with the day to day management of the academy
• Parent voice/ community engagement
• Health & Safety – Risk Assessments/ Accident Reporting
• Monitoring before and after school wrap around care
• Developing the wider curriculum to include SMSC/PSHE and British Values
• Deputising in the absence of the Principal
• Other activities as delegated by the Principal
