Teaching Assistant Additional Needs Level 2 until 30/04/2020

15 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday 9.00am – 12.00pm

The governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with or caring for children of the relevant age
  • Receive and support pupils not working to a normal timetable
  • Support provision for children with additional needs
  • Develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements with pupils and provide support for distressed pupils.
  • Good communication skills

Skills required are:

  • Ability to relate well to children and adults
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Use basic technology, computer
  • Flexible approach to work and be prepared to undertake routine admin tasks outside of the classroom.
