The successful applicant will:
• have KS1/2 experience essential
• have the ability to work as part of a team
• have the ability to work independently, using a degree of initiative
• have high expectations of behaviour and endeavour,
• be aware of current curriculum requirements, contributing to assessment
• be able to contribute to the raising of standards in the school
• be aware of SEN procedures and legislation.
• be committed to providing the best educational opportunities for all children
• be able to motivate and support children
• be committed to working with parents and the wider community
• be willing to be involved in the life of the school
• be a practicing Catholic or sympathetic to the teaching of the Catholic Church

St Augustine’s Catholic School became part of the Holy Cross Catholic Multi Academy Company from 1 September 2019 along with Bishop Ullathorne and Cardinal Newman Catholic Secondary Schools and Christ the King, St Thomas More, St Elizabeth’s and St John Vianney Catholic Primary Schools, which are all located in Coventry.

Work pattern: 3 days per week – 7 hrs per day or 5 mornings
