(Grade 6 £19391 - £22 401 p.a.)

Queen’s Croft High School is a generic secondary special school in Lichfield, Staffordshire.  It supports the needs of children and young people with a wide range of difficulties.  All students at the school have an Education, Health and Care Plan.

The school seeks to appoint three Teaching Assistants to work with children who have significant needs.  Additionally, the school seeks to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The successful candidates will have experience of working with children and young people who have social and emotional difficulties and/or very complex developmental delay.  An experience of working with children and young people who have learning needs and autistic spectrum conditions would be particularly useful.

Hours: Full time (32.5 hours per week)

The posts are offered on a fixed term basis to 17/07/2020.

Potential candidates are encouraged to visit the school.  Requests for visits should be made to Mrs Nuala Hodgkiss, PA to the Headteacher, on 01543 227245.

Completed application forms should be returned to the school either by post or electronically to office@queenscroft.staffs.sch.uk .  The closing date for applications is 12pm on Monday 21st October.  Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held during that week.

Further details of the post can be found on the school’s website www.queenscroft.staffs.sch.uk

This School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
