Quality Assurance Team Manager
£48,184 - £52,962 per annum
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Access & Achievement Management Team. It is an exciting time to join Walsall Children’s Services as we are on a ‘Walsall Right for Children’ transformation journey, transforming services to ensure children and families are at the centre of everything we do. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a real difference to children and families and to help develop our team.
The successful postholder will be responsible for providing support to the Head of Inclusion giving up-to-date specialist advice on all matters related to the council’s statutory responsibilities for the quality of outcomes in all schools and educational settings. The postholder will also support the Head of Inclusion to ensure compliance with the relevant government legislation, statutory requirements, national and local performance indicators, and output measures related to education and inclusion for all learners including early year’s providers and post 16 provision and assist with the implementation of relevant strategies and processes for the council to fulfil its statutory responsibilities for intervening in schools causing concern and quality assurance of early years and post 16 provision.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Successful teaching experience in school(s) and/or early years/Post 16 providers.
- Experience of being an effective manager, who promotes innovation and has a collaborative approach.
- Experience of dealing with and analysing information, and of effectively communicating this information to other in oral or written form.
- Experience of managing organisational change.
- Experience of implementing appropriate quality assurance systems.
