Vacancy at EBN Castle Vale

The EBN Academies are Alternative Provision Schools in Birmingham each educating up to 90 pupils aged 13-16 years.

They are part of the family of Secondary Schools and Academies across the East Area of Birmingham, that collaborate on a range of curriculum and pupil support areas including behaviour and attendance and post-16 provision. The Academies serve young people who are currently disengaged from mainstream education; those whose needs are not being met fully by their mainstream school; and those who currently have to travel out of the area due to a lack of suitable places.

The successful applicant will be consistently good and outstanding practitioner and will be committed to raising the achievement of all learners by ensuring teaching of Science is of the highest quality, is innovative, engaging and enjoyable. Key qualities will include; high expectations of yourself and others with a strong determination to raise standards and accelerate progress in a co-educational setting.

The post provides a very exciting opportunity for a teacher who is ambitious and dynamic and who is looking to fully utilise and further develop their skills in an innovative setting. The successful candidate will have the full support of the senior leadership team and lots of professional development opportunities.
