The Estates section of the West Midlands Fire Service are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistants to join their team. Under the general direction of the Senior Maintenance Assistant the successful applicant will be required to carry out multi-trade building repair works and general building maintenance on all WMFS properties across the West Midlands region.

You must be able to work off ladders, steps or scaffold and demonstrate a knowledge/understanding of all trades including plumbing, painting, carpentry, bricklaying, roofing and electrical work.
